View the slides >> | Listen to the presentation >>

April 3, 2019
08:30 AM - 10:30 AM PT

Please join us for the third installment of our tax reform discussion series designed for in-house audiences with diverse levels of familiarity with the US tax system and the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.

We will cover the recently proposed regulations addressing Foreign Derived Intangible Income (FDII). The FDII rules provide favorable tax incentives for export sales and exported services, and are the companion provision to the GILTI rules discussed during our last installment.

This presentation will provide a high-level overview of the FDII framework, highlight differences between the treatment of export sales and services, and discuss the documentation and compliance requirements that must be satisfied to benefit from the FDII regime. The program will be aimed at providing a balanced overview accessible to practitioners coming at these rules for the first time, but will also take occasional deep dives into those areas of highest interest and importance.
