AWLL and Morgan Lewis Event: Using Social Media Effectively in the Workplace to Enhance Your Brand and Business

Wednesday, May 7, 2014
01:00 AM Eastern Daylight Time

The American Women Lawyers in London’s Executive Committee and Morgan Lewis are delighted to invite you to a panel presentation and networking event on how to use social media effectively in the workplace.

When handled correctly, social media can help professionally enhance your personal brand, establish yourself as an expert in a field, or demonstrate your fluency with all things digital. On the flip side, we’ve all heard horror stories in the news about an employee misusing social media in the workplace and the company having to react appropriately. This highlights the ever increasing importance of having a social media policy in the workplace and knowing how to react appropriately to misuse as an employer.

Our panel of experts will discuss the latest trends in digital communication, the most effective social media tools, what to keep in mind when creating social content, the importance of having a social media policy in the workplace, blogging, the value of communities and networks, personal brand development, and more.
