This week we welcome new partners to our outsourcing and commercial transactions practice, Mike Pierides and Simon Lightman. The arrival of Mike and Simon, along with associate Sarah Bryan, adds further strength to our outsourcing and commercial transactions team and brings our capabilities to the firm’s London office. Mike and Simon will lead the expansion of our practice in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, where both have extensive experience representing a wide range of clients on major outsourcing and complex commercial transactions.
Mike has advised clients on some of the largest information technology and business process outsourcing transactions in the market. He has represented clients in a variety of industries, including technology, life sciences, financial services, publishing, and telecommunications, as well as government authorities. Mike has also negotiated complex technology development, implementation and services transactions, as well as agreements involving multijurisdictional arrangements and strategic restructurings.
Simon has counseled clients on data protection, privacy, and ecommerce issues arising in commercial agreements, as well as transitional and subsequent activities resulting from major corporate divestments and acquisitions. In his practice, Simon leverages his prior experience working in-house as a legal director at one of the United Kingdom’s largest business outsourcing companies.
The addition of Mike and Simon to our global outsourcing and commercial transactions team highlights our strong and continued commitment to serving clients in the United Kingdom and throughout Europe.
