Final Sunshine Act: Now the Hard Part — Part I: Basic Requirements

Please join us for the first installment of our webinar series discussing compliance with the final U.S. Sunshine Act issued by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

Applicable manufacturers and applicable group purchasing organizations must begin to collect the data required by the Sunshine Act on August 1, 2013, and must report the data to CMS by March 31, 2014.

This webinar will focus on the basic requirements of the act, including:

  • Types of entities that meet the definition of an "applicable manufacturer"
  • Requirements related to reporting deadlines
  • CMS notifications
  • Data review and correction periods
  • Payment data availability
