Labor and employment partner Melissa Rodriguez will speak on the panel for “Changing Workplaces, Changing Employment Laws” at the Hispanic National Bar Association 2017 Annual Convention.
The panelists will discuss their experiences and challenges in balancing changes in our current work environments with changing employment laws involving a range of issues such as remote work arrangements, gender identity, equal pay, state/county mandated sick leave laws, disability accommodation, etc. Given our changing and modern day workplaces; new government administration, and changing leaders of federal agencies who enforce employment laws. This panel will provide participants not only a crucial update on current employment laws, but a relevant presentation on future trends and expected changes in our continuously evolving workplaces.
