Join us for a discussion about the challenges presented by so-called “mass arbitrations,” where a small number of law firms initiate hundreds or even thousands of arbitrations against companies that utilize consumer or employee contracts that include arbitration provisions with class action waivers. Mass arbitrations have targeted a variety of industries with claims from employees, independent contractors, and consumers. We will address strategies for mitigating the risk of mass arbitrations as well as handling them should they arise.

TOPICS WILL INCLUDE:

  • Enforceability of arbitration provisions
  • Rise of mass arbitrations
  • Strategies for handling mass arbitrations
  • Strategies to mitigate prospective mass arbitration risk
