Finance partner Grigory Marinichev (MO) participated in the International Chamber of Commerce's (ICC) conference, "Russia as a Place for Dispute Resolution: A New Era of International Arbitration," on December 2 in Moscow. During the event, leading international experts summarized the experience of working during the COVID-19 pandemic, which resulted in new regulations, approaches, and digital products in international arbitration. Grigory spoke during the session titled “Cross-Border Insolvency: Do We Face the Primacy of International Arbitration Over Bankruptcy Legislation?” He discussed the interplay between winding-up and arbitration in different jurisdictions, covering basic requirements, causes and consequences for compulsory liquidation, and the implications for international arbitration.
