ML Women NY and Black Lawyers Network Panel Discussion

Join ML Women NY and the Black Lawyers Network for a panel discussion focusing on the pandemic’s disparate impact on women—especially women of color.

Panelists are Claudia Goldin, Henry Lee Professor of Economics at Harvard University; Emily Martin, Vice President for Education and Workplace Justice at National Women’s Law Council; and Shontell Powell, Associate General Counsel for Workplace Health and Safety at Amazon; with Morgan Lewis partner Russell Franklin moderating. Among other topics, the speakers will address questions and issues relating to the hiring, retention, and promotion of women of color.

Panelists will appear virtually. Attendees may participate via Webex, or in person at our New York office, where we will live-stream the panel discussion and host a reception immediately after.
