SAN FRANCISCO, February 29, 2012: Reece Hirsch was appointed by the California Office of Privacy Protection to a 13-member advisory group that will develop a policy guide on the detection, prevention and response to medical identity theft for providers implementing electronic health records. The advisory group will also assist in the preparation of materials for consumers to help them respond to and recover from medical ID theft.
