IRVINE, October 30, 2014: Morgan Lewis advised private equity firm Simplepitch Ventures on its investment in leading packaged foods producer Crunchies Food Company. The investment is effective immediately.
Simplepitch Ventures invests in companies that sell clever, exciting, and disruptive products in less than $1 billion industries. Crunchies Food Company is the maker of the Crunchies brand line of all-natural freeze-dried fruits and vegetables, which are sold nationwide.
The Morgan Lewis team advising Simplepitch on the investment was led by Business and Finance partners Bryan S. Gadol and J. Michael Jack, with support from Business and Finance associate Randall J. Wood, and Litigation of counsel Richard W. Esterkin.
