PHILADELPHIA, June 23: Morgan Lewis today announced the launch of its Going Global webinar series that will provide state-of-the-art legal and business insights for investment managers who are taking their enterprises to key financial centers worldwide.

Established under the global law firm’s highly respected Morgan Lewis Hedge Fund University™, the free series will launch with a focus on Singapore on June 25. They will discuss a wide variety of topics of critical importance to managers opening or operating an office in Singapore, including issues of local regulation, corporate structuring, employment, taxation, product distribution, and US-Singapore and UK-Singapore adviser regulation.

Over the course of the next year, the Going Global series will include webinars devoted to operating in Dubai, Tokyo, London, and New York. Information about the upcoming webinars will be posted on the Morgan Lewis Hedge Fund University™ site.

“This is an extraordinary opportunity for managers who are either contemplating, or who are already operating, offices in these vital centers of global commerce,” said Mr. Levin, a leader of Morgan Lewis’s services focused on investment managers. “Our presenters are all deeply familiar with the complexities and opportunities associated with operating in these jurisdictions and we look forward to sharing our insights with participants.”
