How Women Are Changing The Law Firms They Lead, Law360

2018年5月30日

Our Chair Jami McKeon sat down with Law360 to discuss her experiences as a woman over the course of her career and her perspective on what’s changing for the better as part of the publication’s Glass Ceiling special feature. She details the firm’s work from home program and its early commitment to the Mansfield Rule, which requires at least 30% of those being considered for a promotion or leadership role to be diverse.

“We are looking for these opportunities and we are looking for women who we think are going to be future leaders and we are investing in them,” McKeon said in the video. Watch an excerpted version of the video.

She also addressed her optimism for the legal community’s ability to add more women leaders in the future. "What gives me hope about law is that we may have the reputation of being conservative and reactionary, but really good lawyers at heart are really creative people who identify big problems with clients and help solve them. This is nothing more than a problem for the legal profession that those same brains can help solve." Read the full profile and watch the video here.
