NEW YORK, November 21, 2018: Deals in which Morgan Lewis advised have won multiple awards as part of the 17th annual M&A Advisor Awards. The series recognizes the leading transactions, restructurings, financings, products and services, firms, and individuals in the M&A industry.
Morgan Lewis’s work on behalf of Transcontinental in its $1.32 billion acquisition of Coveris Americas, a flexible packaging business held by Coveris Holdings S.A., a portfolio company of Sun Capital Partners, Inc., won the Materials Deal of the Year award. Partner Richard B. Aldridge led the representation along with partner Michael N. Baxter.
The firm also secured the Healthcare and Life Sciences Deal of the Year (Under $100 million) award for its representation of the Bank of New York Mellon Trust Company as Indenture Trustee to the holders of HUD-insured industrial development bonds in the Chapter 11 bankruptcy of North Philadelphia Health System. This matter was led by of counsel Rachel Jaffe Mauceri with support from lead partner Glenn E. Siegel and associate Crystal R. Axelrod.
