Morgan Lewis partners Pulina Whitaker and Ezra Church comment in an Intellectual Property Magazine article about confusion that remains one year after the General Data Protection Regime (GDPR) was implemented. Pulina noted that in the “midst of some lack of clarity and much trepidation,” many EU and global organisations undertook the compliance steps necessary to prepare for the GDPR a year ago. Ezra added, “We are still working through the kinks of implementation, particularly around the extraterritorial implications as international organisations grapple with certain aspects.”
