WASHINGTON, DC, July 24, 2019: Morgan Lewis partner Natalie Bennett has been named to The National Law Journal’s 2019 list of “Rising Stars” in Washington, DC. Natalie is one of only 40 lawyers featured in the annual list, which recognizes top legal talent under age 40 based on success on behalf of clients and peer recommendations.
Natalie was chosen for her extensive intellectual property work. She is currently preparing for a high stakes evidentiary hearing in a confidential arbitration and looking forward to one or more ITC evidentiary hearings in early 2020. Throughout her career, she has litigated seven high-stakes IP trials through final judgment, including the first verdict obtained under the federal Defend Trade Secrets Act of 2016. She also has handled oral arguments before the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, as well as high-stakes issues in district courts, including motions for judgment as a matter of law and preliminary injunction proceedings.
In addition to her private practice, Natalie frequently represents veterans and families of children with disabilities or special educational needs in pro bono cases. She also is active in professional groups as a member of several local and national bar organizations.
