NEW YORK, October 28, 2019: Morgan Lewis advised Sandvik AB in an agreement to sell its Varel International Energy Services business to Blue Water Energy.
Sandvik is a high-tech and global engineering company offering tools and tooling systems for advanced metal-cutting; tools and solutions for the mining and construction industries; and advanced stainless steels, powder-based alloys, and specialty alloys. Varel is dedicated to providing drilling and downhole solutions to the oil and gas, mining, and industrial markets.
