Associate Kelly Cooke’s work as a women’s ice hockey referee at the 2022 Beijing Olympics is featured in News@Northeastern. Kelly’s law school alma mater highlighted her ice hockey journey, which took her from a collegiate career at Princeton and playing professionally in Massachusetts to becoming the second woman in the history of the American Hockey League to referee a game. She is now one of a dozen women selected to serve as a women’s ice hockey referee at this year’s Winter Games.
