Partner and member of the firm’s Climate Change Working Group Duke McCall was quoted in an article from Chemical Week about the creation of the Office of Environmental Justice and External Civil Rights (OEJECR) within the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
The OEJECR brings “structure, focus and funding” to the environmental justice movement, said Duke. “With a mission to ‘infuse equity, civil rights, and environmental justice principles and priorities into all EPA practices, policies, and programs,’ the office is likely to change the way EPA does business across the spectrum of programs it administers.”
