“Following the Schrems II decision, the European Commission approved new standard contractual clauses and decisions requiring organisations to conduct risk assessments on transatlantic data flows, together with guidance issued by the European Data Protection Board regarding obligations to implement suitable safeguards and security measures to maintain European-level personal data protections,” she said.
