This is Part II of a two part series addressing interval funds.

This article compares the attributes of interval funds to those of private funds, liquid alternative mutual funds and closed-end funds that make periodic tender offers pursuant to applicable rules under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended (1934 Act) (tender offer funds), which are similar to interval funds but also differ in several important ways, and which also have been gaining in popularity among fund managers recently.
