Navigating the EU Commission’s Proposed Pay Transparency Directive, International Employment Lawyer

Partner Louise Skinner and associate Will Mallin co-authored an article for International Employment Lawyer about a new directive proposed by the European Commission on March 4, 2021, which called for pay transparency to ensure that women and men in the European Union receive equal pay for the same work or work of equal value. In the article, Louise and Will discussed potential implications for employers of this directive. “The first step employers should consider in this context is ensuring that their payroll systems and job descriptions are sufficiently granular to allow responsible personnel to more easily comply with pay transparency obligations.”
