Règlement IA: ce que signifie se mettre en conformité (AI Regulation: What It Means to Achieve Compliance), Revue Banque

2026年06月25日

Partners Marie-Christine Fournier-Gille and Mathilde Carle co-authored an article for Revue Banque examining how the European Union’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) Act is reshaping compliance expectations for financial institutions. The article discusses the regulation’s risk-based framework and the governance, operational, and technology considerations organizations should address as new obligations take effect.

The authors explain how financial institutions can identify and classify AI systems, distinguish between provider and deployer responsibilities, and prepare for heightened requirements applicable to high-risk AI systems. They also explore the implications of increased reliance on general-purpose AI models and third-party providers, emphasizing the need for enhanced vendor oversight, transparency, human oversight, employee training, and governance. The article concludes that compliance with the AI Act should be integrated into broader digital risk-management frameworks alongside the General Data Protection Regulation, the Digital Operational Resilience Act, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
