Our Scope

Through Morgan Lewis Stamford, our office in Singapore, we regularly advise on complex, cross-border deals involving mandatory, voluntary, and partial offers; reverse takeovers; and change-of-control acquisitions. We also have advised on capital markets transactions particular to Southeast Asia, and we counsel issuers, underwriters, placement agents, selling security holders, investors, corporate trustees, and other market participants in structuring their capital markets transactions.

For our private equity and fund clients in Southeast Asia, we routinely provide advice on regulatory issues relating to fund managers and fund entities, as well as fund formation and downstream investment–related activities. Our banking and finance lawyers represent lenders, underwriters, borrowers, agents, and other stakeholders on a diverse range of domestic and cross-border transactions. And we have a demonstrated record in the region of advising on projects involving restructurings, acquisitions, divestments, joint ventures, and real estate developments.

Additionally, our dispute resolution team has the multijurisdictional capabilities necessary to resolve commercial, corporate, and financial disputes before major arbitration tribunals in Southeast Asia and around the world.
