In a report on the shift in Houston-area law firm headcount, Morgan Lewis was identified by the Houston Business Journal as one of the success stories of the year.
The office added a net of three attorneys to go from 46 to 49 over the last year. Houston Managing Partner Brady Edwards noted, “We’ve done well sticking to our game plan and I wouldn’t expect us to deviate from that.”
The article mentions that the Houston office has quadrupled in size since its inception in January 2007. “We seem to be in the right place at the right time in terms of practice areas,” Edwards said.
