Friday, May 23, 2014

NEW YORK, May 23 2014: The 2014 edition of Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business features 147 Morgan Lewis lawyers across a variety of practice areas. More than 30 Morgan Lewis lawyers received the legal directory’s highest “Band 1” individual ranking. Multiple practices at the firm also received this top-tier nationwide ranking, including the Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation, Nuclear Energy, ERISA Litigation, and Labor and Employment practices.

The Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Practice was a winner of a Chambers USA “Award for Excellence.”  “Morgan Lewis’s employee benefits and executive compensation practice is singled out for its devotion to finding a resolution for clients and its phenomenal level of service provision,” Chambers notes.

Morgan Lewis was also the only firm this year to receive national rankings in four major investment fund categories—Hedge Funds, Private Equity: Fund Formation, Registered Funds and Venture Capital—as well as in the Broker-Dealer Regulation category. Morgan Lewis is also nationally ranked for its well-regarded Appellate Law, Securities, and Life Sciences practices.

The rankings assess technical legal ability, professional conduct, client service, commercial astuteness, diligence, commitment, and other qualities valued by clients.
