IRVINE Calif., June 19, 2014: Leading world beauty company L'Oréal announced on June 18 the signing of an agreement to acquire NYX Cosmetics, one of the fastest growing color cosmetics brands in the United States. NYX Cosmetics will become part of the Consumer Products Division of L’Oréal and continue to operate out of its Los Angeles headquarters under the brand’s current leadership team, according to a statement released by L'Oréal. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Closing of the transaction is subject to the usual regulatory approvals and other customary conditions.
Morgan Lewis served as NYX Cosmetic’s legal advisor on the transaction led by Business and Finance Practice partner Bryan S. Gadol and including Business and Finance associate Randall Wood.
