CHICAGO, July 22, 2016: Morgan Lewis labor and employment partner Debbie Davidson has been selected by the Illinois Diversity Council (ILDC) as one of its Leadership Excellence in the Law award recipients.
The honorees include women who have reached the top of their profession and are effective leaders within their organizations, while driving change, contributing to business growth, and inspiring others to succeed. Ms. Davidson was selected based on nominations by corporate counsel, other lawyers, and professionals across a number of industries.
Honorees will be recognized during a breakfast at the 3rd Annual IL Leadership Conference on October 4 at the Hilton Chicago. The Illinois Diversity Council is part of the larger National Diversity Council, a nonprofit organization committed to fostering a learning environment for organizations to grow in their knowledge of diversity.
Ms. Davidson is co-chair of the firm’s Employee Retirement Income Security Act Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) litigation practice and represents plan sponsors, trustees, fiduciaries, service providers, and other clients facing a range of employee benefits litigation around the United States. Ms. Davidson has a particular focus on class and multiparty actions, including those arising under ERISA, and counsels clients facing litigation through trial, as well as with appellate matters.
