Morgan Lewis Advises NMC Healthcare on the 70% Acquisition of Saudi Arabia’s As Salama Hospital

DUBAI, August 30, 2016: Global law firm Morgan Lewis today announced that it has advised NMC Healthcare in connection with the acquisition of 70% of As Salama Hospital in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.

NMC Healthcare is UAE’s largest private healthcare provider based out of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The group, having started its operations in the country in 1975, has an international network of hospitals in the UAE and Europe consisting of 30 healthcare facilities across five countries, catering to more than 11,000 patients a day, and employing more than 1,200 doctors. Last year they made five acquisitions – four in the UAE and one in Spain. NMC Healthcare is one of the few companies in the Gulf Cooperation Council, and the first from the UAE, to be listed on the Premium segment of the London Stock Exchange.
