LOS ANGELES, March 16, 2018: Morgan Lewis partner James J. Dragna, leader of the firm’s environmental counseling and litigation practice, has been named among The National Law Journal’s 2018 class of Energy & Environmental Trailblazers. The annual series recognizes lawyers who have achieved remarkable successes in energy and environmental law.

Mr. Dragna represents clients in major environmental litigation, including multiparty, multiclaim proceedings that follow major environmental crises such as the Deepwater Horizon spill on the Gulf of Mexico and the Aliso Canyon gas leak in Porter Ranch, California. He frequently serves as group or common counsel to large multiparty Superfund groups, as special counsel for municipalities in major infrastructure litigation, and as coordinating counsel for clients in major environmental crisis proceedings. Mr. Dragna is a frequent speaker on crisis management.

Mr. Dragna was profiled this month in a special supplement published by The National Law Journal. It is the second time Mr. Dragna has been recognized as a legal Trailblazer. He was first named a Litigation Trailblazer by The National Law Journal in December 2016.
