WASHINGTON, DC, June 26, 2018: For the third consecutive year, Morgan Lewis has been named the largest healthcare law firm by leading healthcare business and policy news magazine Modern Healthcare, surpassing 49 other firms on its “Largest Healthcare Law Firms” list. This is the seventh year in a row that Morgan Lewis has ranked among the top five firms.

The annual compilation highlights US law firms that have dedicated practices and staff to meet the needs of healthcare and life sciences industry members, including by helping them to better understand and comply with various regulations.

In the past year, Morgan Lewis’s elite healthcare team has continued its growth, including with the arrival of 10 members in Houston who deliver regulatory, transactional, litigation, and government investigations services to hospitals, health systems, and other medical providers. This new team includes six partners and, coupled with the recent arrival of a senior antitrust attorney from the US Department of Justice, considerably strengthens the firm’s already preeminent group of healthcare lawyers in Washington, DC, Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.

With more than 300 lawyers and other legal personnel serving the healthcare and life sciences sectors, Morgan Lewis offers healthcare providers, suppliers, insurers, and life sciences companies with sophisticated, integrated, and cost-effective counsel covering all of their unique needs. The firm advises clients on litigation, transactional, operational, and regulatory issues. Healthcare and life sciences law practitioners at Morgan Lewis leverage their collective knowledge of the inner workings of the government’s executive branch, as well as the regulatory agencies most critical to healthcare and life sciences businesses, to bring insight and sophistication to the complex challenges and opportunities that the firm’s healthcare and life sciences industry clients confront in a constantly evolving marketplace.
