SAN FRANCISCO, August 31, 2018: Morgan Lewis partner Michelle Park Chiu has been recognized as one of the Best Lawyers Under 40 by the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA). Each November, NAPABA recognizes talented individuals in the Asian Pacific American legal community who have achieved prominence and distinction in their respective fields—be it the practice of law, academia, business, civic and charitable affairs, the judiciary, or politics—and have demonstrated a strong commitment to Asian Pacific American civic or community affairs.
Ms. Chiu represents clients facing a variety of complex litigation matters, including unfair competition, antitrust, and consumer protection matters. She has experience representing clients in all phases of litigation, from pretrial strategy to trial and arbitration and appeals. In addition, Ms. Chiu has an active pro bono practice representing individuals in immigration matters, successfully obtaining relief on behalf of several clients in asylum and removal proceedings. Ms. Chiu is currently the Board Secretary of the Asian American Bar Association of the Greater Bay Area and served as Morgan Lewis’ 2016 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Fellow.
