CHICAGO, June 1, 2018: Morgan Lewis partner Jenny A. Austin has been named to the 2018 “40 Under 40” list of Illinois lawyers to watch by Chicago Lawyer and Chicago Daily Law Bulletin. Honorees were selected from more than 1,500 nominations based on feedback from peers and other members of the legal profession about the nominees' work and commitment to the industry.
Chicago Lawyer and Chicago Daily Law Bulletin note that Ms. Austin has “earned the respect of both her peers and clients” through her taxation and pro bono work. Ms. Austin concentrates her practice on federal tax controversy and litigation, working across all industries, with a particular focus on matters involving significant intellectual property interests, including medical device, pharmaceutical, and technology companies. The publications also highlight Ms. Austin’s involvement with the Family Defense Center, a nonprofit organization that provides legal assistance to families in the child welfare system.
