Shannon, a Chambers-recognized lawyer who will be resident in Washington, DC, is joined by of counsel Laura Garvin, who will be resident in Miami, and a team of associates and immigration specialists. They arrive from the same global law firm, where Shannon led the Washington office’s immigration and global mobility team.
Shannon facilitates the cross-border movement of key executives, managers, and workers with specialized knowledge, particularly for employers in the United States and Canada. She also coordinates global compliance programs for multinational clients and provides strategic advice related to global immigration policies and best practices. Laura advises employers on a broad range of immigration compliance and agency facilitation issues before US federal agencies involved with immigration. Both have assisted numerous international clients engaged in high volumes of immigration and visa issues.
