Covering one of the hottest topics in the food space, Morgan Lewis partner Bob Hibbert and associate Amaru Sanchez authored an article for Law360 on the significance of jurisdictional differences at the federal level between the US Department of Agriculture and the US Food and Drug Administration when it comes to new labeling requirements and/or restrictions for meat-alternative products, both cell- and plant-based, which are generally designed to restrict access to traditional terminology such as “ground beef” on such products' labels.
