SINGAPORE, April 4, 2019: Morgan Lewis Stamford received two accolades at an event hosted by the Law Society of Singapore Pro Bono Services.
The firm was named Assist Non-Profit Organisations (AssistNPOs) Champion. AssistNPOs brings together lawyers who provide pro bono commercial legal advice and nonprofits, charities, and social enterprises. The accolade recognizes in particular the firm’s work with the Singapore Centre for Social Enterprise in creating a legal clinic for local entrepreneurs and small businesses.
Additionally, Morgan Lewis Stamford consultant Richard Tan Ming Kirk was named a Community Legal Clinic Champion. Richard was highlighted for being among lawyers who have dedicated the most hours to the clinic.
