Morgan Lewis Represents Platinum Equity in Sale of Embedded Power Business

ORANGE COUNTY, May 20, 2019: Morgan Lewis represented Platinum Equity in the signing of a definitive agreement to sell the Embedded Power business of Artesyn Embedded Technologies Inc. to Advanced Energy Industries Inc. The transaction is valued at approximately $400 million.

Artesyn’s Embedded Power business is a global supplier and manufacturer of highly engineered power conversion products, including AC-DC power supplies, DC input devices, and board mounted DC-DC modules.

Platinum Equity is a global investment firm with about $13 billion of assets under management and a portfolio of approximately 40 operating companies that serve customers around the world.
