NEW YORK, June 11, 2019: Chambers has recognized Morgan Lewis as the private practice winner of the “Outstanding D&I Program” award as part of its Diversity and Inclusion Awards: USA 2019 series. The awards honor companies, law firms, and lawyers who are furthering the advancement of diversity and inclusion in the legal profession.
Morgan Lewis was selected out of six law firms that were shortlisted for the recognition, which honors the firm that has made a concerted effort to improve the well-being of its workforce. The firm was singled out for being one of the first signatories to the American Bar Association’s pledge on lawyer well-being; establishing the new roles of chief engagement officer and director of employee wellbeing; and creating ML Well, an innovative approach to promoting the well-being of Morgan Lewis lawyers and professional staff.
