Suet-Fern Lee, Daniel Chia Named Among Top 100 Lawyers in Singapore

SINGAPORE, September 25, 2019: Morgan Lewis Stamford directors Suet-Fern Lee and Daniel Chia have been named in Asia Business Law Journal’s A-List for 2019, which recognizes the top 100 lawyers in Singapore. The list is based on extensive research with in-house counsel in Singapore and around the world on their experiences with private-practice lawyers at Singapore-based and international law firms.

Suet-Fern advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt capital markets, and corporate finance. She has led some of the largest corporate transactions in Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region. Her work also includes counseling companies and boards. Suet-Fern has served on the board of directors of publicly listed companies in the region and is a director of the World Justice Project, which promotes the rule of law globally. She was also named to the A-List in 2018.

Daniel is a corporate and commercial litigator who acts for clients in complex, cross-border, and multi-disciplinary high value disputes. He also represents clients, either as defendants or plaintiffs, in a wide range of white collar criminal proceedings, involving allegations of money laundering, corruption, and tax evasion. Daniel is regularly appointed as pro bono counsel by the Law Society of Singapore and the Supreme Court of Singapore in a wide variety of criminal matters.
