How to Accommodate At-Risk Workers, SHRM

Morgan Lewis partner Chai Feldblum was quoted in a SHRM article about the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s (EEOC’s) latest guidance regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). In the article, Chai discussed best practices for employers seeking to accommodate high-risk employees. “Some employees will have legal rights under the ADA or paid-leave laws, while others will not," Chai noted in the article. "Even for those without legal rights, it will be useful for employers to have a process for providing alternative workplace arrangements that takes into account both legal and business needs."
