LGBTQ Inclusion in the Workplace: Updating Policies and Training, SHRM

Morgan Lewis partner and co-director of the firm’s Workplace Culture Consulting group Chai Feldblum spoke with SHRM for an article about best practices for employers in light of the US Supreme Court’s recent landmark decision ruling that discrimination against LGBTQ employees is illegal. In the article, she discussed anti-discrimination policies. "As a practical matter for all the companies that already have anti-discrimination and anti-harassment policies for LGBTQ+ people, this is simply an affirmation of their existing policies," Chai said. "Employers that had not previously prohibited discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity should obviously do so now in their various policy documents."
