SAN FRANCISCO, December 4, 2020: Morgan Lewis associate Kevin Benedicto has been recognized by the Bar Association of San Francisco’s Barristers Club with its 2020 Diversity Award. Kevin is one of two recipients for this year’s award, which honors individuals who are dedicated to increasing awareness of diversity issues in the Bay Area legal community.
Kevin received the honor for his work advancing diversity as a member of the firm’s San Francisco office’s Hiring Committee. In that role, Kevin interviews and recommends candidates and has helped to increase diversity in the office. He also works with the firm’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee to offer diverse law students mentoring and the opportunity to participate in mock interviews.
Kevin concentrates his practice on complex litigation, cybersecurity and data privacy matters, securities investigations and litigation, business and corporate disputes, and toxic torts. He advises clients in the technology industry on issues surrounding cybersecurity, data privacy, and compliance with new laws and regulations such as the California Consumer Privacy Act. He has represented clients in the cloud computing, gaming and esports, and financial technology sectors.
Kevin will receive the Diversity Award on December 10 during the 12th annual Barristers Club Diversity Reception.
