NCAA Leaders Back Suspension of Name, Image Rules, Law360

Partner Baird Fogel was quoted in a Law360 article regarding the National Collegiate Athletic Association’s (NCAA’s) decision to allow college athletes to profit off their name, image, and likeness (NIL). This change in course for the NCAA comes after several states laws allowed collegians to accept endorsements and sponsorships starting July 1. Baird said, "It is an enormous moment and a turning point for college sports, the NCAA and its ability to govern and the whole definition of amateurism."
