In December 2022, the US Securities and Exchange Commission issued four rule proposals “designed to update and reshape segments of the US equity markets,” writes Pensions & Investments.
With the public comment period closed as of March 31, partner Ignacio Sandoval said to the publication that while the “four proposals are intended to work in concert,” they may not “always align,” noting that there are gaps in the way one rule could be implemented and how another may operate.
