DALLAS, February 25, 2016: Morgan Lewis litigation partner Allyson Ho has been named as one of six Premier Women in the Law by the Association of Women Attorneys (AWA) of Houston.
Recognized as the only female lawyer in private practice to argue two cases before the US Supreme Court during its last term, Ms. Ho will be celebrated with fellow honorees at a private cocktail reception and during the AWA’s fifth annual Premier Women in the Law luncheon in Houston on March 23. Proceeds from the luncheon will fund scholarships for second- and third-year female law students at the city’s three law schools.
Ms. Ho is co-chair of the appellate practice at Morgan Lewis, where she represents clients in high-stakes litigation in U.S. state and federal trial and appellate courts nationwide, including the High Court where she has argued as lead counsel. Ms. Ho has won cases for Fortune 500 companies, represented former high-ranking US and foreign government officials in federal court, and counseled US senators and presidential candidates.
