CFPB Finalizes Rule Allowing Banks to Estimate Remittance Costs, Bloomberg Law

Morgan Lewis of counsel Eamonn Moran was quoted in a Bloomberg Law article about the implications of a final rule issued by the US Consumer Financial Protection Bureau on international money transfers. In the article, he noted that the threshold change clarifies requirements for financial institutions that provide remittance “as an accommodation or as a convenience for their existing customers.”
