Morgan Lewis Partner David Bowman Receives Philadelphia Diversity Council Multicultural Leadership Award

PHILADELPHIA, August 31, 2016: Morgan Lewis labor and employment partner David Bowman has been selected to receive the Multicultural Leadership Award from the Philadelphia Diversity Council.

Recipients of the Multicultural Leadership Award represent individuals of color who have made a difference through their achievements and exemplify the ability to excel in their field. Winners are selected by a local awards committee, which seeks input from the State Council Board of Directors and council members.

Honorees will be recognized on September 1 during the 7th Annual Philadelphia Diversity and Leadership Conference. The Philadelphia Diversity Council, a division of the Pennsylvania Diversity Council, is part of the larger National Diversity Council, a nonprofit organization committed to fostering a learning environment for organizations to grow in their knowledge of diversity. In July, the National Diversity Council also honored Morgan Lewis partners Debbie Davidson, Barbara Fitzgerald, and Undray Wilks.

Mr. Bowman, director of Morgan Lewis Resources Workplace Training, helps manage diversity consulting, independent investigations, and workplace training programs for firm clients. David leverages his experience as a former human resources professional and a labor and employment litigator to bring a unique and valuable perspective to clients’ daily challenges related to workplace diversity, sexual harassment, discrimination, and ethics. His nontraditional legal practice provides world-class services to many of the largest companies in the world.
