Morgan Lewis partner Scott Fischer is quoted in an article by Business Insurance about the emerging use of technology in the insurance business and the proposed regulations on the new innovation. Fischer notes in the article that even though existing regulations do not incorporate insurtech, he thinks, “the bedrock of solvency and market conduct – this is making sure insurers pay when they’re supposed to pay – is going to be the guiding principle for regulators.”
