Meat Has a Replacement but No One Knows What to Call It, Bloomberg Law

Morgan Lewis partner Bob Hibbert gives the latest legal updates on the debate for proper labeling measures within the developing meat cell-cultured technology in a Bloomberg Law article. He states in the article that “the labeling issue surrounding products of cellular agriculture is fundamentally a public policy question.” He also notes that the FDA’s past exceptions around identity standards, such as soy milk, makes it difficult to predict how label enforcement will be established. His quotes were also featured in a Chicago Tribune article.
