PRINCETON, September 15, 2016: Morgan Lewis partner Michelle Silverman has been chosen by the New Jersey Law Journal as one of its 2016 Top Women in Law. Ms. Silverman is recognized among a group of 25 women lawyers from across New Jersey highlighted for their notable achievements over the last two years.
Ms. Silverman counsels and defends clients facing single-plaintiff and systemic employment discrimination claims in US state, federal, and appellate courts. She regularly handles disputes involving alleged harassment, wrongful termination, and retaliation, as well as matters alleging disparate impact or pattern and practice discrimination. She regularly represents clients before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and handles regulatory agency investigations and fact findings.
The honorees were chosen from recommendations by the publication's staff and suggestions by the legal community, and will be celebrated at a November 15 dinner in New York. Ms. Silverman joins eData partner Tess Blair, who recently received a similar honor from Philadelphia’s The Legal Intelligencer.
