NEW YORK, November 3, 2015: The 2016 edition of US News & World Report's Best Law Firms has named Morgan Lewis “Law Firm of the Year” in the contest's environmental litigation and employee benefits ERISA (Employee Retirement Income Security Act) law categories.
The firm earned the leading designation in both the environmental litigation and employee benefits ERISA law categories based on client and peer feedback. Winning practices were chosen from among more than 12,000 firms across 120 practice areas in 174 metropolitan areas and eight states.
The publication also recognized Morgan Lewis as a top firm across 35 national and 133 metropolitan categories—a more than 25% increase over the number of the firm’s “Tier 1” rankings last year.
